Feeder - layer from human connective tissue cells, process for its production and method for preparing human epithelial cells and their use for the restoration of the skin

Method of producing a feeder layer based on normal diploid human connective tissue cells, and also the use of this feeder layer as a substrate for the in vitro propagation of normal human epithelial cells, particularly keratinocytes of interfollicular or intrafollicular origin, and also of acinar and tubular cells of the eccrine sweat gland or sebaceous gland cells, and in addition the use of the epithelial cells propagated in this way for skin restitution. The feeder layer is characterized by having a density of 4000-5000 cells per square centimetre.
