Ice-drilling means with an oxygen-supply device for avoiding fish losses during the frost period, in standing and flowing bodies of water

Device and process serve to prevent fish losses which occur again and again as a result of closed coverings of ice during the frost period. By virtue of the fact that the ice is drilled and no longer has to be hacked up, stress situations among the fish, which lead to increased oxygen depletion, do not arise. The exchangeability of the ice-drilling means for a water-jet pump makes it possible for the water beneath the covering of ice to be supplied with oxygen via compressed air with an oxygen admixture. Apparatus and process can be used everywhere, irrespective of the thickness of the covering of ice and of the magnitude and depth of standing or flowing bodies of water.
