The aim of the invention is to find a solution which guarantees an injury-free and pain-free but yet secure holding of the bait fish on the predatory-fish fishing rods. This takes place by a clamp made of flexible as well as also elastic material being placed around the end of the body of the bait fish in front of the tail-fin root. The clamp, which can have any colour and embodiment required, can be made to sit around the fish body with a firm fit and equally in self-loosening form.
