In comparison with the prior art, in which fixed conventional falseworks for bridges are indeed very adaptable to various bridge shapes, but are inefficient to handle, and in which displaceable or advancing falseworks for bridge-superstructure construction in sections may well be efficient to operate, but with regard to possible cross-sections and bridge shapes are limited in use, and in which furthermore the customary constructions for the said areas are not replaceable, the invention makes it possible to produce, using the same constructional parts, fixed falseworks for bridges of any conceivable cross-section and plan shape, and also to assemble displaceable falseworks, the falseworks being suitable for the construction, in sections, of bridge superstructures of any possible cross-section shapes, radii in plan and elevation and also floor camber, and all of this with efficient handling, formwork adjustability as desired, rapid assembly and with the possibility of connection to conventional falsework constructions. The aim of the invention is achieved by a construction consisting of different-length longitudinal beams capable of being coupled, of longitudinally adjustable transverse beams which are to be pushed one inside the other and are to be connected to the main longitudinal beams in a flexurally rigid, oblique-angled and fanned-out manner, of formwork-adjusting constructions, rigidifying framework constructions and lowerable individual pieces with sliding bearings.
