A treatment system for preventing secondary cataract formation after a cataract operation with a solution that inhibits growth of epithelial cells, a neutralising agent for this solution and an injection device which can be inserted in the crystalline capsule of a lens and with which the solution inhibiting growth of epithelial cells and the neutralising agent can be introduced into the crystalline capsule.
