An effect yarn mfg. installation guides a core thread at a constant delivery speed, and an effect thread at a variable delivery speed through an air texturising nozzle. Before entering the nozzle, the effect thread is drawn out into loops. The yarn loop is formed between two yarn guides located on a joint plane. A rotating yarn guide rotates round an axis that is vertical to the loop plane. According to the pre-set programme, at least one of the yarn guides moves in the direction of enlarging or shortening the distance of the yarn guides on the loop plane. ADVANTAGE - The invention eliminates a disadvantage of a corresp. installation in which the amplitude of the yarn loop cannot be controlled accurately at high speeds.
