A process for the prodn of heavy-ion oscillations and heavy-ion oscillation energy in an alternating frequency area and a high frequency area, has pref two primary impulse heavy-ion converters (5) and (6) and pref a push-pull heavy-ion transformer coupled by two metallic ion conductor coils (21 and 22). Pref a hollow metal ion conductor coil (16) has connections (17 and 18) and high voltage is pref connected at (11), (9) and (10). The primary windings (1) and (2) of the transformer are pref lacquer insulated copper wire and the secondarys (21) and (22) pref have metallic ion conductors consisting of an aluminium 26 tube filled with a noble gas or a noble gas caesium mixt and welded at its ends to be vacuum tight. USE - In heavy-ion physics, aerospace drives, X-ray generation for chip mfr, fusion plasmas, particle physics, isotope prodn and material science.
