Catheter system for haemodynamic examinations under atrial, ventricular or atrioventricular cardiac stimulation

The object is a standardised catheter system of high variability as regards haemodynamic measurements and various stimulation conditions, which permits reliable stimulation, is easy to position and in which cold injection for thermodilution can be carried out more quickly and more reproducibly. According to the invention, in each case a thin central catheter is used for atrial stimulation, ventricular stimulation and haemodynamic measurement. There are a sleeve-shaped catheter and an insertion connector attached to the proximal end of the latter and having several inlet nozzles which serve to introduce the central catheters into the vascular system and for injection of the cold bolus. The invention is a catheter system for cardiological diagnosis, therapy and therapeutic monitoring.
