The collapsible hood actuator consists of a first drive acting on the hood through an output drive and linkage and a second drive acting via an output drive directly on the hood box lid. The output drives (7) should be fixed in their respective housings (6) and the drives (5) are arranged on respective rockers (12) which are pivoted in the housings and coupled by means of a latch (13). One gear on the drive meshes with a gear in the output and each rocker has its own handle (14) releasably coupled to the latch. The two output drives can be uncoupled from their respective drives. USE/ADVANTAGE - Convertible motor cards. Hood responds fast and reliably to operating handle for user convenience.
