Process in which a polymeric paste is applied to a textile fabric from a single pattern plate with cutouts of various depths creates relief patterns of unequal depths. Pressure application of the paste to the fabric is by an elastic sheet which conforms to the measured amts. of each different depth in the pattern plate. Subsequent heating produces a foamed relief pattern of various depths. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in the textile, clothing and toy industries to produce relief patterns of different depths. Process appts. is less expensive and process time is shorter.
