The two parallel wires (3,4) run horizontally around the four sides (1) of the enclosure (2) and are held by spacers (6) nailed or stapled (7) to the boarding. The wires pass over electrically insulating angle brackets (8) at the corners, and are connected to terminals of the battery (5) onn a free-standing post (9). The spacers may extend either across or along the wires. The boards may be of smooth or corrugated plastic, and the wires may lie in C-section grooves between upstanding ribs, pref. not more than 1mm high, formed on the outside of smooth boards or furlable plastics sheets. ADVANTAGE - Conductors are protected against short-circuits and contaimination due to rain or dew, and against loosening or distortion brought about by differential thermal expansion.
