Barrel fluid filler - has filling funnel fitting into collar top plate hole

Barrel filler uses a bunghole in one flat barrel side which has a raised annular rim to take the filling funnel. The device should consist of a closed collar (2) which terminates below in a setdown rim (3,3') with a U curve run congruent with the barrel bunghole rim. The collar is closed off at the top by a plate (4) which has a hole for the top part (6) of the filling funnel. The collar is pref. made of bent sheet or plastics strip welded up at its but ends. USE/ADVANTAGE - Fluids, e.g. recovered oil etc. Collar fitting onto barrel rim locates filling funnel to prevent oil reaching milieu and thus eliminating pollution.
