A radiator (5) for motor vehicle is brazed by passing it through a brazing furnace (1) suspended from a conveyor (2). The radiator (5) is attached to a support (4) which is suspended from the conveyor (2) by hooks 83). The air in the furnace is circulated by a fan (7). To protect the upper part of the radiator from being overheated, it is protected from the direct flow of air by a baffle plate which is fixed to a grid which is attached to the support (4) and extends over one side of the radiator.
