Programming support method - connecting modules via data communications devices and separating for individual development

A distributed software system is formed with a number of software modules which are combined via a data communications system. The integrity of the contents of the communications data exchanged between the various software modules is checked and the modules are connected or separated depending on the resultsof the check. The decision to connect or separate the software modules can be dependent upon a test of the relationship between a software module generating the data and a software module which is making use of it. A further step can be used to display the results of the integrity testing. USE/ADVANTAGE - For supporting programming whereby software modules are combined and can be sepd. for separate module development. Enables separate and simultaneous development of different modules forming software system.
