An entirely novel and safe mode for storage of highly radioactive waste, by transporting the latter into outer space using rockets. Until now, the highly radioactive waste was processed, reprocessed, permanently or intermediately stored. With the above processes, the danger of radioactive damage remains (especially for half live tissues of thousands of years). The highly radioactive waste, being present at relatively small concentrations in the whole world could be transported into space at speeds of 11.2 km/s to overcome the earthgravity, as radioactive processes occur in outer space in any case. Intercontinental rockets could be req-equipped which become available due to disarmament. USE/ADVANTAGE - The method can be used to transport highly radioactive waste into outer space. Storage is permanent, without any danger of radioactive fall-out and at the same time economical as only small quantities of waste are involved.
