WORK TABLE, IN PARTICULAR OFFICE TABLE WITH HEIGHT- AND INCLINATION-ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM

A work table, in particular an office table, has a mechanism for adjusting the height and inclination of its top. With conventional adjustment mechanisms, the height and inclination of the table top are adjusted by raising or lowering it. Comfortable, simple, problem-free adjustment of the height and inclination of the table top (5) is achieved by a mechanism for adjusting the height and inclination of the table top (5) which is actuated by a control sequence, and by a switching or reversing system (39) for separate or simultaneous actuation of the height- and inclination-adjustment mechanism. Operation of a hand crank (75) permits simultaneous or selective control of the height- and/or inclination-adjustment mechanism, solely through a control axis (37) actuated by the hand crank. This work table is particularly useful as an office table.
