Method of preparation of a strip of diagnosis covered by agarose, which consists in to prepare a roll of a material in strip form, in such a way that an aqueous emulsion of silver halide can accede on one side, but having no layer of gelatin or any other material protein on the dimension prepare, to prepare coating then, the dimension of the strip, by a method of coating of the continuous strip, with a layer of an aqueous solution of agarose at a temperature of at least, 40c, dry the layer of agarose spread in order to obtain a layer dried to the touch, of thickness lying between 0,1 and 100mm and containing from 10 to 50% by weight of solid materials, and to cut the strip coated in strips of the size required.
