This machine is noteworthy in that it comprises a frame structure S constituting a table for supply 1 and for presentation of articles to be tied from a conveying chain 2 with buckets 3, the said table being associated with a structure 9 carrying a tying device D which is mounted on a sole plate 20 which can be displaced in a controlled manner; tying heads 25 forming a tool and receiving, in an articulated manner, a prop 29 are mounted rotatably on the sole plate and controlled by a jack 33 which also carries an adhesive-strip reel support; the supply table receiving complementary means for gripping and pressing the end of the strip interacting with the tying heads in order continuously to bundle the articles in an automatic cycle.
