The invention relates to a spreader for irons in formworking. The spreader consists of an elongate central part 4 at the ends of which is arranged a connection head 5, 6; it is monobloc and is made of plastic material. The connection head 5, 6 is a convex polyhedron whose faces 7 are provided with notches for the lateral engagement of the concrete irons 9, the said notches 8 are offset symmetrically with respect to one another in order to permit the crossing of the said irons 9. The inlet of the notches 8 comprises a flange for blocking the escape of the said irons. The invention applies to concrete formworking. IMAGE
