A beam contol grid for an in-line electron gun with gradually-decreasing interaxial distances for a colour television tube, of the kind comprising an additional component of which a part of the electrostatic active zone is in relief relative to the perpendicular plane of the electronic beams which carry fixing devices for the support of the gun. The invention is characterized, in particular, in that the relief part (32) of the active zone (32) comprises an essentially rectangular-shaped opening (38) longitudinally parallel to the plane of the electronic beams whereby said opening clears the openings (35, 36 and 37) formed to allow said electronic beams to pass on the usual surface of the grid. The invention does away with positioning errors of the additional component and facilitates adjustment of the parameters so as to reduce coma errors.
