The present invention relates to a device including a combination of the application of microwaves, an electrical system and a mechanical system. This device is equipped with a generator allowing, on the one hand, for health-related uses, application of microwave energy for the dehydrating of human excreta, and on the other hand for food-related uses, the use of the same microwave energy in order optionally to reheat frozen dishes, using a waveguide with two alternate pathways. This assembly is engineered from an electrical installation conforming to safety specifications so as to avoid any reversal of the motions.
