Levelling agents containingPPI. ethers of the general formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 denotes alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl,PPR.sub.2 denotes hydrogen or methyl, PPx denotes 1, 2 or 3 andPPy denotes 0 to 7, andPPII. emulsifiers and, if desired, PP III. carriers for the dyeing of polyesters are used for the high- temperature dyeing of polyester fibres and polyester-containing materials.
