PURPOSE:To easily search MATSUTAKE mushrooms by capturing and measuring the extremely trace matsutakeol or isomatsutakeol in the atm. air. CONSTITUTION:The matsutakeol and isomatsutakeol which are the aromatic components of the MATSUTAKE mushrooms are chemically bonded with a carrier-protein to form the complete antigens. The respective antibodies are previously prepd. by using mouse. The atm. air contg. the odors of the MATSUTAKE mushrooms is captured and concd. into an aq. soln. and the soln. is mixed with the bodily fluid to progress an antigen-antibody reaction. The progression of this reaction is detected by immunoassay. The odors of the MATSUTAKE mushrooms are detected with a high sensitivity and the MATSUTAKE mushrooms are easily searched if the result of detection is converted to an absorbance, fluorescent intensity, emission intensity or a change in current value. At least one kind of bovine serum albumin, chicken gamma globulin and the hemocyanine derived from Fissurelidae are used as the carrier- protein.
