In this constitution, the material A whose specific gravity is lower than that of the material B is concentrated in the upper part in the perpendicular direction in the vessel C, and the material B whose specific gravity is higher than that of the material A is concentrated in the lower part in the perpendicular direction in the vessel C. Positional relations between materials A and B due to the inclination of the vessel C are detected by detecting elements a0 to c0,... to output signals a1 to c1,.... Positional relations between materials A and B are unequivocally determined for arbitrary inclination. Signals a1 to c1,... are electrically processed with respect to direction and angle of inclination and are inputted to an inclination direction and inclination angle discriminating arithmetic circuit, and signals corresponding to total inclination angles in all inclination directions are outputted.
