METALLIC DECORATIVE PANEL HAVING EMBOSS PATTERN AND METHOD FOR FORMING EMBOSS PATTERN

PURPOSE:To manufacture a metallic decorative panel excellent in appearance at low cost/by pressing a metallic plate through a punching press means provided with male and female dies in a non-punched state to form an emboss pattern. CONSTITUTION:The metallic plate 2 is mounted on the table 1 of a NC punching press A and a tool holder 4 is actuated to select a desired tool from a magazine 5. The downward end of a punch 6b is externaly inserted by a female type punch tip 6c for forming an emboss to work the metallic plate 2 between this punch tip 6c and a die 7 set on the table 1. In this way, an emboss pattern having a clear contour can be formed and a metallic decorative panel sharp in appearance and excellent in design can be manufactured.
