RECOVERING METHOD FOR MAGNETIC POWDER DEVELOPING MATERIAL OF ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To recover a developer completely without scattering, by mounting rotatably a magnet which is arranged in a nonmagnetic sleeve and has plural magnetic poles and rotating this magnet. CONSTITUTION:A developing vessel 8 is suspended from a slide rail 5; and in case of replacement of a developer, the vessel 8 is drawn out to the side of a copying machine main body, and a recovering-bag is hooked to cover all of the mouth of the vessel 8 which faces to a drum 1. Besides a magnet 3 for developing, a magnet 4 for repulsion of the developer is provided in a sleeve 2 rotatably around a shaft (a), and this magnetic pole assembly is rotated to generate such magnetic pattern that a magnetic powder developer 7 is repulsed from the sleeve 2. The sleeve 2 is rotated to recover the developer 7 into a bag 6, and the vessel 8 is returned into the copying machine main body. Next, a new developer is charged from a supply mouth 9 of the vessel 8, thus completing the replacement work of the developer 7.
