SAMPLING TIME CONTROLLER FOR SERIES CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To attain data transmission with always excellent transmission efficiency independently of the scale of the system by varying the transmission period of a data frame signal in response to number of terminal equipments in the controller. CONSTITUTION:A normal transmission reception circuit 20 sends a data frame signal including a data controlling sensor groups 1-1-1-N connecting to each node and actuator groups 2-1-2-N to nodes 10-1-10-N via a switch SW1. A power-on detection circuit 30 detects the leading of the system by power-on to drive an initial frame generating circuit 40 and outputs an initial frame signal via a contact A-C of the switch SW1 and inputs the result to input and output point number detection circuits 60, 70 via the nodes 10-1-10-N, an input circuit 50 of a main controller 100 and a switch SW2 to count bit numbers L1 and l of data D1, D0 in succession to a start code respectively and inputs the result to a sampling time generating circuit 80. The circuit 80 controls the transmission period of a frame signal outputted from the reception circuit 20 in response to the input point number L1.
