PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition containing a quinone-based drying- suppressing agent and unsaturated fatty acid metal salt, etc., each in a specific amount, without retarding the drying of printing ink on the surface to be printed and retarding the drying of printing ink surface in the vessel thereof and free from discoloration in storage. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition containing 0.01-5wt.%, preferably 0.04-1wt.% quinone-based drying-suppressing agent (e.g. 1,4-hydroquinone, catechol, methylhydroquinone, etc.) and containing 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-3wt.% one or more kinds of unsaturated fatty acid salts (cobalt, manganese salts of oleic acid, abietic acid, etc.) and/or metallic resinate.
