PURPOSE:To improve the set precision by storing relations among a self-operated regulating valve, a set pressure, and the extent of regulation of a regulating means as regression formulas of plural patterns and operating the extent of adjustment of the regulating means based on a selected regression formula to operate a control signal supplied to a driving means. CONSTITUTION:Relations between the secondary-side pressure of a reduction valve 30 and the set pressure are actually measured, and a regression formula is generated by obtained data. A regression formula approximating this regression formula based on actual measurement is selected from preliminarily stored regression formulas of plural patterns. When the regression formula is determined and the set pressure is inputted, the extent of regulation to the screw position most suitable for a reduction valve 30 is operated, and the control signal is sent to a driving means 34 based on this extent of regulation. Thus, the error from the target of pressure setting is reduced in all of the set pressure range, and immediate setting is possible.
