ODD-SHAPED DOOR WEATHER STRIP AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOLDING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of molding processes and to enhance the quality as a molded product by integrally molding an odd-shaped door weather strip wherein a plurality of parts having different peripheral lengths are continued. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip S1 is mounted to the inside peripheral edge of a door frame 1 in an annular shape. The peripheral length of the first weather strip part S1a mounted to the upper half part A of the door frame 1 is longer than that of the second weather strip part S1b mounted to the lower half part B thereof and both weather strip parts S1a, S1b are integrally molded without interposing a bonding part therebetween and connected at the part of a connection part S1c. Therefore, a process separately molding a plurality of weather strips having different peripheral lengths to bond the same using a mold is indispensable in a conventional molding method but this process is eliminated to reduce the number of molding processes.
