EXCAVATOR WITH HOLE OF SMALL CALIBER AND COURSE CORRECTION IN PROPELLING METHOD WITH HOLE OF SMALL CALIBER

PURPOSE:To increase course correction force and to make it possible to control a course accurately by rotating a taper head of an excavator with a hole of a small caliber to penetrate it underground, bending it with a hinge section as the center to excavate earth in the projection side, and forming a space. CONSTITUTION:When a course correction device 9 is driven forward underground to make a straight drive on, a taper head 6 is driven forward by a butt pushing device 1 in a state to house it in an external cylinder 5. After that, when a course correction is required, the taper head 6 is rotated in the course to be corrected in a state to house the taper head 6 in the external cylinder 5, and the taper head 6 is extended by a hydraulic jack 7 to penetrate into the ground. Then, a member 20 is pushed by a projection 21 to rotate, and a member 19 is pushed to bend the taper head 6 which is held together as a unit thereby. The taper head 6 is pushed out of the external cylinder 5, and earth for a part projected from the outside diameter is cut off. According to the constitution, course correction can be largely made.
