DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRIC FOOT WARMER

PURPOSE:To make it possible to control such items to which infrared radiation cannot be applied in a device for controlling an electric foot warmer, make operations simpler and eliminate the need for cables between its parts by incorporating a set unit into a board of the warmer, using electromagnetic waves or magnetism as a means to transmit set code and by separating completely the set unit and a control unit. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 2 is fixed to a body of an electric foot warmer in the vicinity of a heating unit 1. A set unit 4 is attached to a corner of a board 7 to be mounted on a quilt 6. An antenna 9 provided on an upper frame of the warmer is connected to the control unit 2 for receiving electromagnetic waves transmitted from the unit 4. Conditions are set based on the display of the control panel by means of the unit 4. The set code is converted into a transmission format to be outputted. High frequency waves are modulated at a transmission part in the unit 4 for transmission. The control unit 2 analyzes the code received by the receiving antenna 9 to control the heating unit 1.
