PURPOSE:To force an unstopper part into a can after drinking, so that a sip part and the unstopper part will stay on the can by a method wherein a score with a central break part is provided at one end of the sip part difined by a U-shaped score and the unstopper part smaller and shorter than the sip part is formed. CONSTITUTION:A recess 7 is formed under a tab 6 in a can lid so as to permit the finger to be easily put into the tab 6 and enable even a child to open the can readily. Since a score 3 with a central break part is formed at one end of a sip part 4, this break part of the score is easy to bend but difficult to tear off to prevent the sip part 4 from being removed from a lid 2. After drinking, therefore, the sip part 4 and an unstopper part 5 can be bent easily inside a beverage can 1 affording a disposal convenience to make the sip part 4 and the unstopper part 5 stay on the lid for a safe disposal of empty can. Since the tab 6 and the unstopper part 5 are formed in a straight position is close contact with the lid 2 when a side view thereof is taken, the can structure can be simplified, although to a slight extent, and the upstoppering action will not take place when a force is exerted on the can from above.
