DICTIONARY DISPLAY AND EDITING DEVICE FOR DICTIONARY FOR NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING

PURPOSE:To enable users to use information in easy-to-use structure other than the structure of a dictionary by displaying detailed classifications for the processing of the dictionary for natural language processing together as a display group. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with the dictionary 1, dictionary retrieval means 2, and a dictionary display means 4, and the dictionary 1 is structured in a tree consisting of parts of speech, detailed classifications of parts of speech below the respective parts of speech, and plural equivalent words and other attached information for each part-of-speech classification. Then, the detailed classifications of the parts of speech and their attached areas are divided into display groups of the detailed classifications of the parts of speech and controlled in a dictionary editor area. Parts of speech in the same group are displayed in the same classification even when their structural classifications are different. Consequently, the information that the users use can be generated in easy-to-use structure other than the structure of the dictionary.
