PURPOSE:To attain quick response without the compensation of a counter electromotive force of a motor, by resetting an internal integration value from a control phase angle to a value obtained at the acceleration and deceleration of the control phase angle. CONSTITUTION:When a current reference AS is increased or decreased, since a feedback Af remains as it is, a signal of a deviation As-Af is increased and amplified at an amplifier 32. This proportional component and the integral value integrated at a division circuit 35, a one-cycle delay circut 36, and an addition circuit 37 are summed at an addition circuit 33 and converted into a control phase angle theta at a phase conversion circuit 301. The phase angle theta is limited at an acceleration deceleration limiter 302, and when the limiter is operated, a switch S2 is selected to take the IA position and the integral value IA is set to the value IA' of a limit control phase angle theta' through a phase inversion circuit 310. The phase angle theta', is an output voltage V with a thyristor converter 34, and a load current Ia flows from a motor 4. The current Ia is detected at a current 34, and a load current Ia flows from a motor 4. The current Ia is detected at a current detection circuit 8 to be the feedback Af for the succeeding control. Thus, the integral value Ia is an inverted value from the phase angle theta'.
