PURPOSE:To make releasing resistance of weft small with suitably performing winding of weft on a length measuring drum by providing a specific tension controlling nozzle between a weft cheese and a drum-type length measuring and storing device for weft. CONSTITUTION:A tension controlling nozzle 16 reducing drawing resistance of weft Y from a weft cheese with affecting air flow to weft so as to orient in advancing direction of weft is provided between a weft cheese 7 and a drum- type length measuring and storing device 1 for weft. By said arrangement, variation of diameter of a weft cheese or variation of drawing resistance of weft with yarn species is suppressed.
