METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EQUIVALENT CONVERSION PROCESSING FOR RELIABILITY OF COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE:To devising the method such that any shape of a communication network is converted into a simplest network shape without fail even when any procedure is applied by applying a specific communication network shape conversion rule CONSTITUTION:A conversion processing unit consists mainly of a control section 101, a storage section 102, a discrimination section 103, and a conversion section 104, a KEY 105 is provided as an input device, a display memory for display 106, a CRT 107 and a display control section 108 to control the display device are provided as output devices. Each network structure shown in the left side of figures (a)-(d) is converted by using a rule that each structure is converted into each structure element shown to the right respectively. Thus, even when any procedure is applied to any shape of communication network, the shape of communication network is converted into a simplest one line network shape without fail.
