PURPOSE:To easily execute debugging and to improve efficiency for fuzzy inference by extracting the same fuzzy rule data in an antecedent part, comparing the consequent part of these fuzzy rule data and deciding that the fuzzy rule is contradicting in the case of noncoincidence. CONSTITUTION:An antecedant part extracting means 2 extracts an arbitrary fuzzy rule X from a fuzzy rule group stored in a file 1 and fuzzy variables (x) and (y) and fuzzy labels A and B in the antecedant part of the fuzzy rule X are defined as an antecedant part X. Next, a consequent part deciding means 3 lists-up the fuzzy same as the fuzzy variables (x) and (Y) and fuzzy labels A and B in the antecedant part X from the file 1 and the consequent part of the fuzzy rule X is compared with the consequent part of the listed-up fuzzy rule. When the fuzzy variable is same and the fuzzy label is different, it is decided that any one of the fuzzy rules is contradicting. Thus, debugging is easily executed and the efficiency for the fuzzy inference is improved.
