GENERAL PURPOSE PROGRAM SYSTEM IN DATA REGISTRATION AND UPDATE FOR BUSINESS SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To generalize the registration/update of data by defining a file to be used by a dictionary generating means, sending defined information to an inspecting means, defining a data item and a range by the inspecting means, and sending the defined information to a registering/updating means. CONSTITUTION:The name and the configuration of the file and a key item to be used in this system are defined in a dictionary file 3 from a first terminal 10 by using the function of a dictionary generation module 2. The function of an inspection definition module 4 and the contents of the dictionary file 3 are referred to from a second terminal 11, and the object data item to be inspected, i.e., checked are defined, and further, the range of the check and the attribute of the data, etc., are defined in an inspection procedure file 5. An interactive type processing module 7 decides the registration and the update and the check of the data by an on-line way from a third terminal 12 based on the information of the dictionary file 3 and the inspection procedure file 5, and executes on-line registration/update to a master file 14 and display to the third terminal 12. Thus, the data registration/update can be generalized.
