SIMULTANEOUS BURIAL ON LAYING SUBMARINE CABLE AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the laying of a submarine cable by paying out the cable with an enclosure caused to move along the bottom of the sea in digging a trench with a trench dredger where the submarine cable is enclosed like a coil with a twist per roll. CONSTITUTION:On a pedestal 23 having a pair of floats 22A and 22B, right and left, a cable enclosure 24 is fixedly put, while a trencher 6 is provided on the underside of the pedestal 23. Inside the cable enclosure 24 a submarine cable 3 is enclosed with a twist per roll. From a cable outlet hole 27 the submarine cable 3 is paid out into a trench 8 made by the trencher 6 through a presser foot wheel 28. In a rope 10 fastened to the pedestal 23 is towed by an unillustrated cable laying ship on the sea surface, the pedestal 23 will move along the bottom of the sea, the trencher 6 dredges the trench 8 and the cable 3 is paid out into the trench 8. The submarine cable 3 is thereby be laid at the same time the bottom of the sea is excavated, so that the economical efficiency can be improved accordingly.
