PURPOSE:To add the knowhow of a working technique owned by an operator working at a site to a working program produced by an expert programmer by using three teaching modes, a mode selection means, a memory, etc. CONSTITUTION:An automatic teaching mode is prepared together with an MDI teaching mode, and a manual teaching mode. When each process is carried out, the instructions of an operator, e.g., a mode selection command, etc., or a control parameter, etc., are inputted in an interactive form via a setting/ displaying device 7. Then a working is carried out with the switch given to a certain mode. If a change is required for a working program at a working site, the operator can freely select the modes to carry out a working and also can regenerate the operation carried out for the working of a changed part with correction and editing based on a working program stored in a storage part 27. As a result, the knowhow of a working technique owned by the operator working at a site can be added to the working program produced by an expert programmer.
