PURPOSE:To control multiplication of acarids living in a material to be treated by putting a desiccant to absorb moisture in the atmosphere and the material to be treated in an enclosed body having water vapor transmission of = a fixed value and making relative humidity in the interior of the enclosed body =a given value. CONSTITUTION:An acarid living material to be treated, such as bedding and a desiccant such as calcium chloride or aluminum oxide to adsorb moisture in the atmosphere are put in the interior of an enclosed body made of low- density polyethylene or polypropylene having =20g/m2/24 hours water vapor permeation and relative humidity in the interior of the storage material is made into a low humidity state of =50% to readily control multiplication of a large amount of acarid living in the material to be treated, such as bedding or foods.
