CONNECTING METHOD BETWEEN HAND PLANNING SINGLE-FUNCTION MACHINE AND AUTOMATIC PLANNING SINGLE-FUNCTION MACHINE

PURPOSE:To realize a drastic increase in capacity by forming a small-sized/light weight composite planer, by a method wherein a table part of a hand planing single-function machine is removed from a base, fitted to a fitting part provided on an automatic planing single-function machine and a planing drum of the table part is driven by a motor of the automatic planing single-function machine. CONSTITUTION:A power transmission belt 20 is passed over a pulley connected with an end of a planing drum 21 arranged at the lower part of a motor 18 by connecting a pulley 19 with an output shaft of the motor 18 for driving of the planing drum fixed to a cutting head 7 of an automatic planing single-function machine. The belt 25 put over a pulley 27 and a table 13 are removed respectively from the pulley 27 and a base 12 and a recessed part 28 formed on the side of a pulley 22 is fitted over a protrusion 29 formed on the side of the pulley 27 so as to fit in the recessed part 28. In other words, the automatic planing single-function machine which is registered by connecting a rotary shaft center of the planing drum 21 and that of a planing drum 26 on the same shaft center with each other and a table part of a hand planing single-function machine are fixed reliably to each other through a knob 30 provided on the automatic planing single-function machine.
