STRESS-RELIEVING JOINT BETWEEN MUTUAL TWO MEMBERS ACTED BY HIGH STRESS

PURPOSE: To facilitate mounting without leakage by providing a thin wall in the intermediate part of a connecting member for interconnecting two members and making an intermediate ring between this connecting member and a flange- shaped lip section formed in a member. CONSTITUTION: This connecting member for interconnecting a first member 1, which is a combustion chamber, and a second member 2, which is a combustion chamber supporting body, includes an intermediate ring 3 made of low heat conducting material and a hermetically sealing ring 4. It also has a connecting member 5 comprising a lip section 9 to be locked to the flange part 15 of the intermediate ring 3, an end section nut 7 to be threadedly engaged with the male thread section 6 of the second member 2, and a thin wall 8 provided with both of the lip section 9 and end section nut 7 at both ends. The intermediate ring 3 comprises a plurality of parts different in length such that the connecting member 5 can be arranged directly below the lip section 14 at an end of the first member 1 after engaging the lip section 9 of the connecting member 5 around the first member 1 directly below the lip section 14.
