PURPOSE:To reduce the influence to be exerted on running due to a state of floor surface, and also, to prevent dust from adhering to a front universal wheel and to prevent the dust in advance from dropping down in the course of running by placing the front universal wheel in the position by a prescribed height from the floor surface higher than a driving wheel and a rear universal wheel. CONSTITUTION:As for height in which a front universal wheel 11 is placed, the lowest part of the wheel is placed in the upper position by about 1-15mm, desirably 2-3mm from the floor surface, respectively. Since the front universal wheel 11 floats up by (x) from the floor surface, appropriate suction force can always be obtained, while holding a prescribed clearance by scarcely having relation to a carpet, a P tile, etc., on the floor surface. Especially, when the cleaner is run on the carpet, the floor suction port is apt to be closed up, but it is just supported by the carpet since the front universal wheel 11 floats up by (x), and a stable run can be executed. Also, the front universal wheel 11 does not obstruct its running and scarcely has a chance for allowing dust to adhere thereto even at the time of converting, therefore, cleaning can be executed without scattering about the refuse.
