PURPOSE:To prevent growth and/or propagation of a tick while performing its extermination by providing a tick-exterminating unit, which holds a tick- exterminating agent, in a hot air delivery port. CONSTITUTION:A tick-preventing bedclothes drier 1 is provided with a blower 2 for sucking air from the outside and a hot air delivery part 6 which converts this air into hot air by a heater 3 with this hot air supplied and delivered to a total unit of bedclothes 4 from an opening part 5 thereof by the above described blower 2. The hot air delivery part 6 is constituted such that a tick exterminating unit 7 is provided to hold a tick exterminating agent which is gradually released from the tick exterminating unit 7 and mixed in the hot air. In the case of drying the bedclothes, the tick exterminating agent is gradually released and adsorbed in the bedclothes particularly, for instance, internal cotton such as a thick bedquilt to provide action of preventing growth and propagation of a tick while performing its extermination. It is only required to provided the tick exterminating unit of holding a tick exterminating agent in the hot sir delivery part, and the necessity for using the particular as the bedclothes drier for thick bedquilt or the like is eliminated.
