PURPOSE:To manufacture the Al alloy fin material for vapor phase brazing excellent in brazability by preparing an Al alloy contg. specified ratio of Mg, Si, Fe, In, Sn and Zn. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy contg., by weight, 0.05 to 0.6% Mg, =1.0% Si and 1.2% Fe, furthermore contg. either one or more kinds in the range of 0.03 to 0.3% In, 0.03 to 0.3% Sn and 0.05 to 2.0% Zn and the balance Al with inevitable impurities is prepd. The Al alloy has excellent brazability and has a beautiful surface quality sacrificial effect after brazing, by which the Al alloy fin material suitable for brazing in a nonoxidizing atmosphere in which flux vapor such as a complex of potassium fluoroaluminate is present can be obtd.
