AQUEOUS GEL COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SPHILOID WHICH IS NON HYDROPHILIC AND A LIPOID SUBSTANCE IN SUSPENSION STATE

PURPOSE: To obtain an aqueous gel for cosmetics good in feeling in use and capable of preventing drying of the skin by including small spheroids of a solid hydrophobic lipoid-like material, which melts when applied to bodies, in a continuous phase in a suspended state. CONSTITUTION: This aqueous gel for cosmetics contains 1.5-10wt.% of spheroids having 50-10000m (preferably 100-3000m) average particle size of a solid hydrophobic lipoid-like material which melts when applied to bodies in a continuous phase with a suspended state. The spheroid has 30-45C melting point and is selected from a group consisting of triglycerides of 8-18C straight chain fatty acids, butter or solid fractions of plant fats and silicone waxes. The spheroids can carry 1-40wt.% cosmetic components (e.g. a fragrant agent, an essential oil, a pigment, a filler, a grinding material) based on their weight. The composition can contain 0.02-70wt.% of a gelling agent based on the total weight of the gel.
