CLUTCH CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR PLANETARY GEAR

PURPOSE:To connect two clutches to an one way clutch without a leased connecting member by applying the outer race of the one way clutch together with a backup plate as a connecting member of two clutches as well as the inner clutch member of the outer clutch. CONSTITUTION:A spline 195 is formed at the periphery of the outer race 194 of an one-way clutch 190, and the backup plate 135 of a fourth clutch 130 and the clutch plate 142a of a fifth clutch 140 are respectively fitted at the spline 195. The plate 135 thereby acts as a connecting member for connecting the clutches 130, 140 to each other, and the outer race 194 acts as the inner clutch member of the clutch 140. A brake drum 145 is further fixed at the outer clutch member 143 of the clutch 140, and the drum 145 is selectively fixed at a gear case 10 by a second brake 200 formed as a band brake.
