SAFETY DEVICE OF OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE FOR DUMP DOOR OF DUMP CAR

PURPOSE:To surely prevent the fall of a dump door by providing a locking member on an operation device to operate a hook according to inclining movement of a load carrying box, and controlling movement of the locking member relatively to mounting/ dismounting operation of a hinge metal fitting provided on the upper part of the dump door. CONSTITUTION:When an operating rod 22 is set on the position of the one dot chain line and a locking pin 23 is set in fixed condition and a load carrying box 1 is incliningly moved, because the roller 15 on the extreme end of an operation arm 10 is separated from a guide piece 14, a rod 13 is backward pulled by the force of a spring 16, a hook 7 is disengaged from a locking pin 8, a dump door 4 is backward and upward rotationally moved centering around a hinge metal fitting 5, and the dump door 4 is opened. Nextly, when the operating rod 22 is anticlockwise rotationally moved and a rotational moving member 26 is rotationally moved together with a rotating metal fitting 21, a shaft 19 is clockwise rotationally moved together with a stay 30 through a rod 28, and at this time rotational movement of the hook 7 is restrained by engagement of a fluctuating member 18 with a locking member 17. In such condition, the dump door 4 is opened by downward rotational movement centering around the locking pin 8.
